ABORTION SHOULD BE ILLEGAL

Definitely abortion has been a controversial topic as long as the idea has existed. In Indonesia especially National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) data reveals that the number of abortions in the country has increased by 15 percent annually. Most of them are teenager and the popular reason why they did abortion because of they do not ready to be a single mother and some of them are still school.

Abortion is one of the most commonplaces in the world. Sometimes abortion as a topic for academic debate and argumentative paper because abortion is a sensational issue and there are so many pro and cons when we talk about this issue.

Some of people argue that abortion should be legal because they thought that it is the mother’s body and the mother’s life so they can to do anything in their body. Not only it but also they thought that abortion is one method of birth control. If we think logically like that probably it could be correct. But in fact abortion is murder no matter when a person believes it becomes legal, so banning the abortion is could be a big achievement. In this essay I am going to explain about the disadvantages of abortion and why abortion should be illegal.

 In every country of the world those who support abortion use the same arguments to justify their position. These arguments may sound possible at first, but they are based on little evidence and poor judgment. People do not understand that there are thousands of serious physical complications from abortion every year this country.

Let’s talk about the consequences first. The immediate consequence of abortion is the risk of damage to a woman’s reproductive organs and her future ability to have children. The hurtful consequence after abortion syndrome may be emotional, physical, psychological, social, moral, or medical.

 When an individual endure an abortion she has a high reaction to the experience. She is able to feel shock and horror, a sense of loss and grief. This psychological response is a form of post-traumatic stress disorder. Some of the symptoms are eating disorders, Relationship problems, depression, and flashback of abortion, suicidal thoughts, and alcohol and drug abuse. In fact the data from the operation of the abortion law, Ottawa, 1977 shows that 25% of women who had abortion sought out psychiatric care, versus 3 % of women who have not did abortion

Andrew gbinigie is one of the many victims of abortion. She ruptured the patient's womb during the abortion, and pulled out her right fallopian tube and ovary, and her urethra. The woman was rushed to a hospital for specialist treatment and her life was saved, although one of her kidneys had to be removed. It is one of the facts that justify that abortion has huge consequences, especially for women.

The second is the fact of abortion. Every day, around the world, about 125,000 babies are aborted. Since the beginning of 2012 there were 2.4 million abortions in Indonesia, about 800.000 of those women were teenagers. The third is religion and abortion. Do not kill or take human life which God has declared to be sacred (Al-Quran ch 6 ayat 151). The basis view that Islam has to abortion is that it is forbidden and is a crime except if medical experts prove it that the mother's life is threatened. Muslims believe that Life Begins at Conception and in Islam, no child is viewed as unwanted. All children are viewed as gifts from Allah.

Abortion is never safe for the baby and the safety of the mother is questionable as many women suffer terribly afterwards, physically and mentally, as I have shown in some of the points above. Abortion is the deliberate and direct killing, it as a cruel, unnatural, and absolutely immoral human act. So that is a reason why abortion should be illegal because there are thousands of serious physical complications from abortion.

Finally we should be banned the abortion in this country because it could be a big achievement. Abortion has so many adverse consequences for women. Banning something this big can be impossible if you think it is impossible but if you think possible it is always possible. In this essay I support you to agree with me for banning the abortion because abortion is the act of inhumanly being and also it is the act of mu
